Good Monday folks, so yesterday didn't exactly go as planned. The nice man who was going to show me the studio basically stood me up because he didn't have the key to show me until the property manager was available again. I just hope they can show me by the end of this week because I will be out of town for the rest of the two weekends of December. It's going to be one crazy rest of the month, I tell ya. Anyway, I wanted to talk a bit about the Christmas party on Saturday night and Sunday, since I didn't get to see the studio. Seriously, it was an amazing weekend.

It was sweet cupcake's work's annual Christmas party and boy, it was so much fun! First, I didn't have anything to wear because apparently I hate everything in my closet and I had no time within the week to shop for an outfit. Anyway, I placed my bets and went shopping the few hours before the party in Gadsden. Mind you, I had absolutely no idea what kind of stores they had. Thank goodness for Jewelya, who works with cupcake. Phew. This was the first outfit I snagged at a TJ Maxx. Don't worry, I know the skirt's a bit short. Just imagine this with tights and boots. I'll have to show the tights and boots in another post.
So after winning my bet of finding an outfit, off we went to the party. I swear we danced ALL NIGHT LONG! All of Zac's coworkers were so extremely nice and funny. I swear there was not one person there who was not having a good time. Sweet cupcake and I even paired up and got his boss and his wife to dance with us! They're all just down to earth and genuine people. I had such a great time and am so glad that sweet cupcake invited me.

Sunday rolled along and we basically just chilled out during the day, resting our poor feet. The boots KILLED my feet...even though they were suspiciously comfortable most of the night. [This is why I don't get along very well with heels.] When I got the text from the studio guy telling me that we'd have to wait another time to see the property, sweet cupcake had a wonderful idea for us to  go to see the Christmas lights at Noccalula Falls. Goodness, it was so beautiful...but so horrifically COLD! Sweet cupcake's mom went with us and she was so much fun. I swear she is the funniest and sweetest woman ever. I can see where Zac gets his charm and wit from.

Of course with my memory, I don't have any pictures to show you guys yet. They're on cupcake's camera and I'll have to remember to post them. Anyway, now it's Monday and I'm wishing it was the weekend all over again. The good news is I had such a wonderful time. Probably one of my best weekends this season. The bad news is, I now have the sniffles and can't seem to stop sneezing. Ugh. I wish I wasn't working today, but I need to so I'm able to go home for Christmas!

Sorry for all of the blabbering today guys. Just had to share this great weekend! What did you all do? Did you go see any Christmas lights? Or go dancing at a Christmas party?

Glad to hear you had such a fantastic weekend! :) That dress is SUPER CUTE- I love TJ Maxx, the secret is just not to go but like once every few months so that the store has all new stuff.

No lights for me this weekend, but I am definitely filled with the holiday spirit. :)
