I'm a bit wordy today. Beware.
Don't you just love it when things really go the way they're supposed to, or how you planned it?

Yesterday's "To Do":
  • Park time with sweet cupcake [win]
  • Shoe shopping with Carini [fail]
  • Rocky Horror Picture Show [fail
When they don't though, it blows. A real bummer.

So, yesterday started off nearly perfect. I woke up to a bright and Fall weathered day. Sweet cupcake and I grabbed some throw away cameras, a delicious Jason's Deli lunch, and headed to the park. I think the only downer was all the walking I had to do. I'm so lazy apparently. Ha. Anyway, we both definitely agreed that we'll be doing that again soon....err, or whenever we ever get the chance again. The whole him living 15 minutes away thing still doesn't allow us to see each other more often, so don't be fooled. Our schedules are so wack.

Anyway, due to a lovely walk with nature and snapping away, we definitely lost track of time and I missed out on shoe shopping with Carini. Thanks, time management skills. Boo and hiss at my lack of that skill. We did however manage to get ready together for the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Carini dressed as Magenta and I curled her hair. Random...but, I had forgotten why I liked hairspray until I used it on Carini. That product was a charm with keeping her curls up. She looked so awesome! :)

So, the show time was starting at 8:15ish. We all gathered and headed towards downtown with the anticipation of crazy costumes and a great time. I just wanted to point out that we did technically get there on time. We bought our tickets and half of us stood at the 20+ people ATM line. It was ridiculous. Even worse, the bar line was doubled. Unfortunately after so many minutes of my feet hurting from the horrid heels, shoulder bumping, and waiting....the other half of our crew came back with the worst news. No seats were available. I know right? Horrible, horrible...just shaking my head. Sweet cupcake was awesome enough to convince the theater to give us a refund. So ridiculous...the seating. Ugh. That was a major fail.

We all kind of separated from that. Sort of. Sweet cupcake, his classmate, and I went to a Halloween party. It was mediocre and still fun overall. The only thing I can boo to here is that I had to work this morning. Oh...six o'clock, please hurry soon!

Besides the win, fail, fail issue...I've concluded that I just worry too much about the little things. So what if we missed the Rocky Horror Picture Show? There will always be a next time. Also, Carini and I will have many more opportunities to shop together, even though both of us dislike it. Haha. I love that guh! :) One last thing is....sweet cupcake and I are still constructing our costume as John Lennon and Yoko Ono. I know....tsk tsk on us, but in all honesty....a day at the park totally beat Halloween costume shopping (this excludes the shoe shopping with Carini...I wanted to go with her - again, stupid time management). We'll figure something out though, I suppose.

Tonight we will be headed to Gadsden to another Halloween party. We're planning on making mummy dogs and grave shots of chocolate pudding. I wanted it to be chocolate mousse, but sweet cupcake was right about pudding taking less time. Oh...if only I didn't have to work today. On a brighter note though, sweet cupcake and I will be watching a play on Sunday! The Chronicles of Narnia. Have you ever seen the movie or read the books? I love it and I'm super excited. Just hoping for another win to even things out.

Sorry for all the jabbering today folks. What are all of you doing this weekend? Have you had any major wins or fails this week?

Aw, I'm sorry shoe shopping and the show didn't work out. Park dates with cameras in hand are the best though! :) I didn't know there was a play version of Chronicles of Narnia. How interesting!

Well, you win some and you lose some I suppose. But don't worry there will always be a next time to do the things you didn't get to do. I have read the Chronicles of Narnia and I loved it. Have a happy Halloween weekend!
