I miss listening and grooving to The Doors. They were my old friend's favorite band and soon my ears followed. I can't say that The Doors is my ultimate favorite, but I have plenty of memories with listening to them. Even hearing one beat from their songs can bring back a flood of precious memories. Does music do that to you too? One of my favorite songs by The Doors is Indian Summer. So few words, yet I can listen to it over and over again, without end. Jim Morrison's voice in the song is so thick and heavy, like he is hugging me and brushing the stray hairs from my face as he sings it. It is my comfort song when I'm feeling down, most times. Here are the lyrics, just wanted to share. :)Songwriters: Robbie Kreiger & Jim Morrison
I love you the best
Better than all the rest
I love you the best
Better than all the rest
That I meet in the summer.
Indian Summer.
That I meet in the summer.
Indian Summer.
I love you the best.
Better than all the rest.
You see.....sweet, simple, & to the point. Oh, I love it.
